You make some great points. They deal very well with estate tax planning. However, there are some other things that are not tax realated that peaple should do. This is an excellent time to communicate your estate plan to your adult children. Their retirement plans are way down and they are stressed about how they are going to be able to retire. Most of them don't know what they are going to inherit, so they are not including that in their financial plans. So, you can improve their lifestyle today without even giving them any money by just having a family meeting and telling them what they will inherit and how. No one would be better to conduct such a meeting than an experienced estate planning professional who can give them perspective.
